The Air Jordan 6 GS “UNC” is the youth sizing of the collegiate-inspired colorway of Michael Jordan’s retro basketball shoe that nods to Jordan’s alma mater. From March 2022, the Jordan 6 GS “UNC” is yet another colorway from Jordan’s signature shoe collection that employs the team uniform colors of the North Carolina Tar Heels on its design, and it doesn’t disappoint. The “UNC” mirrors the color block of the Jordan 6’s original “Carmine” colorway from 1991. The University Blue synthetic nubuck base gives way to contrasting white leather overlays on the shoe’s upper. The neoprene lace overlay that is complete with black Jumpman branding is designed in University Blue, as well. Additional baby blue accenting appears on the spoiler on the back of the shoe and on the tongue. An embroidered “Team Jordan” patch on the heel is inspired by product tags found on the bottom of basketball jerseys. Release date: March 5, 2022
