4” x 4” x 3/4” quad key shaft Wool Felt Buffing Drums by BHA - Black Hawk Abrasives are designed for final step finishing and polishing to a high gloss or mirror finish. The 4 inch diameter wool flap drum is manufactured with premium white felt flaps affixed radially around the center of the drum. The flap design features small areas between each flap which allows for added flexibility and surface contact while also promoting air flow to reduce heat on the buffing drum and work piece. Additionally, compared to other buffing products, such as airway buffs, the 4 inch width of the buffing drum provides a greater surface area thus cutting down time especially on larger surface area work pieces. With it’s ultra soft felt flaps and increased surface area the 4 inch black hawk abrasives buffing drum is perfect for the following applications: last stage buffing and polishing. These buffing drums can be used with you favorite liquid buffing compound, polishing paste, or solid buffing compound and is affixed with a hub that fits 3/4 inch keyed shaft, made to be used on surface finishing machines and linear grinding machines (A.K.A. Burnishers, burnishing machines, contouring grinders, etc.)
