Framed in a gorgeous, gold and green, authentic wood frame, (no glass).  This is an original work, not a print, the back retains the original foil sticker that reads:  "Original Plaques Designed & Hand Painted by Roberta McDowell, Calif".  Ready to hand with a  sawtooth hanger attached.  This 1970's piece brings genuine character to a girl's room or farmhouse-inspired space. Roberta McDowell is an American artist.  Born in Wyoming, her parents moved to Southern California when she was just two years old.  Originally started her art career doing stitchery, she has developed her own style, some call "hippie folk-art" and easily identified by the whimsical, bright colors and light hearted subjects she chooses.
